2015 Process 111

2015 Kona Process 111... Where do we even begin? With one of the most well rounded bike designs Kona has ever come out with, the Process 111 will take every last bit of trail one could throw at it. Right off the bat, the 2015 Process 111 comes fully spec'd out, complete with Sram X1 1x11 Drivetrain, Rock Shox Pike 120mm fork, Shimano SLX brakes, and a KS Lev Integra dropper post. Kona spared no expense at putting together a solid build kit to keep the rubber side on the trail and off the repair stand. However, we could sit here all day and compare build kits and fork sizes, but the real fact of the matter is how does the Process really ride?  One could simply login onto any online mountain bike forum and see the hundreds of positive reviews, but the ear to ear grins really start to occur when you get out from behind the monitor and onto the trail. The 29" wheels will naturally give the rider a climbing advantage, but the geometry of the Process plays into effect while climbing, allowing for the bike to stay very short and tight simply motoring up the climbs. Sram's X1 1x11 drivetrain will making shifting into that perfect gearing for any situation with flawless, crisp shifts. We're sure that you've heard the horror stories from your "pro buddy" about how 29's lack the ability to take tight turns, and descend as "well as your 26inch" bike... Kona almost completely wipes out the "29 Stereotype" with the 111. The new geometry keeps the center of gravity low, wheel base tight, bottom bracket low, and the smile on your face. Just when you thought that Kona couldn't sweeten the deal anymore, their Lifetime Frame warranty will keep you covered from day 1 to day 1000.
